Longtime Jacksonville resident John Luna is the Service Manager at BMW Motorcycles of Jacksonville (Florida). After many miles and many versions of his previous 2015 BMW R nineT, he decided to move forward with a newer, low-mileage 2016 R nineT and pursue his vision for transforming the new bike into one of the most unique builds and certainly the most unique in the Jacksonville area, complete with custom BMW M Sport Sakhir Orange paint and R1200R powder coated wheels.
John gets a lot of attention around town with his R nineT. John commutes to the dealership almost daily on the bike and has put in some serious miles traveling, including a trip to the Barber Museum and Motorsports Park in Leeds, Alabama, last year. Some of the aftermarket items installed on the bike by John himself include an AC Schnitzer belly pan and custom, hand-molded carbon windshield. John’s latest activity with the R nineT was a recent track day at Jennings GP motorcycle racetrack located in Jennings, Florida.
