English television presenter and journalist Richard Hammond has been fined over $2,000 after admitting to two separate speeding offences in the UK, both committed within a span of just three weeks.

The incidents involved two very different machines. The first saw Richard Hammond behind the wheel of a Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo, where he was recorded travelling at 68 mph in a 50 mph zone along the A40 near Pencraig. Less than a month later, he was clocked again—this time in a Bentley Continental GT—doing 82 mph in a 70 mph zone on Rudhall Overbridge.

Both cases were pursued by West Mercia Police, though the process wasn’t entirely straightforward. Authorities reportedly faced delays after official notices sent to multiple addresses were returned unopened, adding a layer of complication to the case.

The ex-Top Gear and The Grand Tour presenter, now 56, ultimately pleaded guilty to both offences. He was fined about $2380.
