Toyota has launched the new RAV4 with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Digital Chassis powering its infotainment system, with the chipmaker saying the platform delivers personalised, connected driving experiences through advanced artificial intelligence capabilities. The Snapdragon Cockpit platform enables high-resolution displays, touch interfaces, and voice-activated controls.

Qualcomm said the collaboration brings safety innovations and connectivity features designed to provide a more intuitive experience for RAV4 drivers and passengers. The Snapdragon Digital Chassis is a modular platform that Qualcomm supplies to automakers for cockpit, connectivity, and driver assistance applications.

In a statement, Mark Granger, Vice President of Product Management at Qualcomm Technologies, said: “By leveraging our next-generation Snapdragon Cockpit platform, Toyota is delivering an elevated driving experience that combines personalization, immersive infotainment, and connectivity. This collaboration brings advanced capabilities and safety innovations designed to make every journey smarter, more intuitive, and more secure for RAV4 drivers and passengers.”
Toyota is among several automakers using Qualcomm’s automotive platforms, with the chipmaker supplying cockpit and connectivity solutions to brands including Mercedes-Benz, General Motors, and Hyundai.
